Primary Summary:

Under general supervision of the Commercial Credit Manager, and in accordance with established policies and procedures, performs annual reviews and maintains tracking on all Member Business Loans; assists with credit analysis as needed.

Essential Functions/Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform annual reviews for existing Member Business Loans which includes a thorough financial, cash flow, ratio and trend analysis based on updated financial information.

  • Affirm collateral adequacy:  consideration of asset availability,

  • Validate that loans are in compliance with existing covenants,

  • Make recommendations to the Commercial Credit Manager on viability and risk of the relationship; affirm risk rating.

  • Prepare an objective and comprehensive written presentation which includes an assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of a credit relationship while adhering to Member Business Loan Policy standards.

  • Order Real Estate appraisal reports and Environmental reports for Member Business Loans when necessary.

  • Maintains the tracking of bids and receipt of final reports, familiarity with real estate appraisal and environmental regulations.

  • Spread financial statements.

  • Assist Commercial Credit Manager with the financial analysis of new loan requests as needed.

  • Assist with portfolio tracking systems as needed.

  • Position Requirements:

  • BS degree in business or related field preferred,

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience,

  • Understanding of accounting principles,

  • Knowledge of business and personal financial statements,

  • Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel extensively,

  • Strong written and oral communication skills required,

  • Organizational skills/ability to prioritize and handle a multitude of responsibilities, meet deadlines, 

  •  Proficiency in financial analysis software.
